If
you are aspiring to join the field of computer networking, one of the best
certificates to help you get your foot in the door is the CompTIA Network +
certification. Locating a training class like the one from examtrace that will teach you everything you need to know prior to
taking the examination is a good step in the right direction.
However,
if you have taken this examination in the past, it is important that you are
made aware of the changes that have occurred to this exam. CompTIA has changed
the examination from the N10-004 to the N10-005 exam. The CompTIA Network +
examination will allow an individual to obtain a mid-level certification that
allows them to work as a network technician.
The
new version of the CompTIA
Network + examination, or what has commonly become known as the Network+
N10-005 examination, consists of one hundred questions. Individuals completing
the examination will be given ninety minutes to answer all of the ninety
questions on the exam.
The
examination is set up in a multiple choice format. Typically, the test will ask
individuals to choose the correct answer to the question, in order to be able
to pass the test. The examination does not contain a multitude of trick
questions like other prior examinations you may have taken in the past contain.
In
order to pass the examination, an applicant must receive a score of 720 points.
The scoring system goes all the way up to 1000, which is not like typical exams
that only score to 100.
